If there’s one thing I love, it’s a road trip. It brings with it many photographic opportunities. Country Victoria (Australia) is peppered with many forgotten towns that flourished until we demanded bigger highways to get us places faster. Where we’re all going in such a hurry, I’m not sure.
My road trips involve constantly popping on and off the highway to explore whatever town I happen to see a signpost for.
This collection of buildings is from a trip I did in 2018, one I’ve done in the past — Castlemaine — however, this time I’d seen a magazine article with photographs of Talbot‘s streetscape and that was enough for me to spend a day heading further west to discover towns I’d never seen before.
